Please do not compromise on any/all gun/gun related legislation whatsoever. In the disguise of moderation they want some moderate gun/gun related legislation only to twist and chip away at our 2nd amendment rights. Please no compromise whatsoever including so called expanded background checks etc. Enforce the laws already on the books. Armed security for our schools will actually help protect our school students. Thank you respectfully William liggett

I sent this to Rep Maloney this evening. I don't expect to hear from her being I'm out of state for her but I wanted her to know that not everyone is in her bill.
Dear Rep. Carolyn Maloney,
I urge you not to move on with this bill of making firearms owners have liability insurance. This will hinder and some cases stop those persons from being able to protect themselves. It would be the same as disarming the American citizens from protecting themselves and it is an infringement on our 2nd amendment rights which you and all the Rep. And senators swore to uphold.
Thanks for your time,
Carlton Stovall

I think that everyone should have the right to bear arms,it's our constitutional right. But on the same token certain assult weapons should require more investigations into the indivisuals crimminal, mental and social behavior an background. I myself have been stricken from the appreciation of bearing arms because of a felony on my record for carrying an unregistered firearm. even in my case i do feel like 1 felony should not take a persons rights away my main point of focas is that people are able to get things (guns) the legal or un-legal way everyone shoulden't have to pay for others failers.

I like this website very much. I come to it almost everyday. Today I can get to the home page, but when I click on the Days Headline Banner it times out and I can't get into the stories.
I sent in a story the other day from Arizona, the Phoenix Mayor Stanton and his new gun buy back program.
If you can tell me how I can get back on the site, please let me know.

I know it's easy to become ensnared in ethnic 'witch-hunts.'
Nevertheless, the recent link below (although the subject of FEDERAL legislation) is somewhat thought provoking:
http://thezog.wordpress.com/who-is-behind-gun-control/
What about STATE(s) legislators?
For example, MN House and Senate committees are presently in process of seriously restricting citizen's 2nd Amendment rights. Is it merely random coincidence that MN committee members, below, are of proclaimed jewish faith?
Ron Latz -- senate chairman
Michael Paymar -- house chairman
Richard Cohen -- committee member
Paul Rosenthal -- committee member
Is it any coincidence that:
(1) One Sandy Hook jewish-child victim was shot in the head 15 times?
(2) or, that Cerberus CEO Keith Feinberg's father was a resident of Sandy Hook at time of shooting?
(3) or, that Cerberus' "Freedom Force" division, which was a predominant U.S. firearms retailer, was sold shortly thereafter?
(4) or, that all of a sudden, almost on cue, a multitude of state legislatures suddenly begin to submit draconian gun control bills?
Because of age (at least), my personal grasp of the 'scientific method' (e.g., for logical analysis) has seriously degenerated -- to whatever extent if may have existed.
But, imho someone needs to review the ethnic membership of the various state legislatures throughout the nation.
What is the common denominator?
Sincerely,
Jim Kennedy

Many of gun rights supporters don't understand what the average American public is asking for when they talk about "gun control", mainly because they are misled by the gun industry.
As of today, no law that could restrict the ownership of a gun by an incompetent person, a mentally ill, a drunk or a drug addict, can be enforced or even voted, and these are the people who are first and foremost protected, while the rest of the population live under the threat and the fear of these so called "law abiding" citizens.
We don't want to take your gun away, unless you become a threat to people around you, and we want gun owners to be trained and held accountable for their negligence.
The way it works today is that anyone is allowed to own a gun, and we wait till after the massacre has happened and lots of people have died to light up candles and cry, when it's too late.
We see too many people acquiring a gun like they would acquire a camera, then keep their gun like they would do for a camera, in a unsafe manner that facilitates it to fall in the wrong hands.
The "right to own and bear arms" must not be the "immunity from the consequence of one's negligence" like it is today. Today, if you leave your gun loaded and unattended in your unlocked vehicle, and if your gun is stolen and used to kill other people, you are guaranteed by law (or lack thereof) the immunity from being held accountable for your negligence.
We believe that Right and ..

LAND MINES DON'T KILL PEOPLE; PEOPLE STEPPING ON LAND MINES KILL PEOPLE.
IDEA: LET'S PUSH FOR GUN MACHINES DESIGNED LIKE CANDY MACHINES THAT COULD BE PUT IN CONVIENIECE STORES, SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, COURTHOUSES, THEATERS, SPORTS AND CONCERT VENUES, CHURCHES, HALFWAY HOUSES, GROCERY STORES, PARKS, AND MOST STREET CORNERS. THINK ABOUT IT, DROP SOME CASH (or swipe credit card if you want the government to get you), SELECT YOUR WEAPON AND AMMUNITON, AND GO. EVERY MAN, WOMAN, AND CHILD COULD BE ARMED. THIS COULD BE 2ND AMENDMENT UTOPIA IN AMERICA. JUST WHAT THE FRAMERS OF THE CONSTITUTION ENVISIONED!

My name is Heather Aitken, I am working with my father in releasing his new book Infiltration. In releasing this book we did a marketing campaign by doing a survey regarding the safety of Americans and how they feel about terrorism in this country. I feel that your readers maybe very interested in what it has to say and by getting both the survey out and the book we will be able to inform those who are trying to take away this freedom.
Thank you,
Heather Aitken

Latest results from Lee Dodson, author of Infiltration, Homeland Terrorism Survey bring more bad news for the government’s presumed approach to Homeland Security. Initiated on October 15, 2012, the small, and admittedly unscientific, survey to test the pulse of his potential readership as to their present sense of the condition of emergency preparedness in the event of another terrorist attack grew virally to 1,800,000+/- .1% from four press releases and a variety of twitter posts

Ever watch a movie where the gun was equipped with a palm reader to ID the lawful user, and that user was the only one who can use that gun? New technology offers many resources to stop these so-called random acts of murder. However, the NWO will still find ways to try to disarm the free world to make their agenda easier.

Imagine if they took away all the guns how much safer we would be since only the criminals would have them, and the NRA calling for police in every school in the nation? Nice jump into a police state. Why not just arm all the teachers, all the students would most likely be more well-behaved.

Even though I have been a "right to bear arms" girl for a long time, the Newtown massacre made me seriously consider that maybe it really IS time to listen to the liberals. However, sanity returned (and with it a certain degree of paranoia). I'm going to open a door here, and I apologize in advance if I offend anyone. WHAT IF...I were a very powerful person. You know, like a President or a Vice President of my country. WHAT IF...gun control was very big on my agenda. WHAT IF...I couldn't get enough voters to vote my way. WHAT IF...I fully understood the best way to control the population would be to take away their guns. WHAT IF...I believed the end justified the means. WHAT IF...I had no conscience and I was willing to sacrifice children to achieve my ends. WHAT IF...I had a team of people who sought out mentally unstable people, and convinced them it was the right thing to do to go into a population and start shooting. WHAT IF...this was no longer an isolated incident, but something that was starting to happen on a regular basis. You know, if enough beautiful toddlers are gunned down, even Charlton Heston might turn in his gun to make it stop. Just sayin`...

Take the approach that the shooter's mother is totally at fault. She knew he was sick, yet despite adequate income, she didn't get proper care for him. Despite knowing he was not competent, she took him to shooting ranges. Despite having all of those weapons in the home, she didn't properly secure them. The shame should be pointed to his stupid mother, no-one else. She was the true problem that has exascerbated into this horror.

If you notice within the last few weeks, there have been several gun incidents in several other areas across the US. Apparently, the NWO is preparing to make a push for more gun control. However, even if they are successful in absolute gun control, the criminal element will still get guns and the rest of us law-abiding citizens will have no defense against them, which will facilitate the loss of more rights in the guise of protection and safety for the nation.

A little over a year ago I was charged with attempted murder for shooting a known violent felon cornering me at my own home with a trailer hitch as a club. I claimed self defense but I was charged within an hour or so based on the lies. I was suspended from my job and it took months for the cops/ prosicutor to indict me. I am now broke and still awaiting justice with no income and therefore limited legal help.

This site is becoming more like a pit stop. Just stopping in. The law should permit every LAC (law abiding citizen) to carry a firearm in any state under the constitution. One license from any state should be recognized by all states, not just a few who condone RECIPROCITY, but all states based on the 2nd. amendment. What are the laws in your state?
