No one is trying to take those guns away from you. Previously, there was a law outlawing these automatic rifles, but it was allowed to expire. That law needs to be reinstated. It won’t keep nuts from killing innocent people, but it may reduce the amount of people they can kill at one time.
This nut in Colorado was able to buy all these guns and all this ammo without any kind of background check.
Ed.: No, he passed the background checks, and his rifle wasn't automatic. |

Gee, I wonder what this gentleman's response would be if he was informed thousands of "automatic rifles", along with sub guns, pistols and full up tripod machine gus, plus mini-guns, canon and mortars are already legally owned by thousands of americans. Or - in over 75 years - they've figured in crimes that can be counted on one hand !
Perhaps better we let these types remain ignorant of real world facts; that full-auto sub guns are easily manufactured with simple shop tools readily available to anyone and designs/specs/instructions are freely available. >MW |
